Accolades: Newest Private Club in the Treasure Valley
Signature Hole: 6th - 196 Yard Par 3
What to Expect: Spurwing is an underrated private facility located outside of Boise and is one of the few courses in the Treasure Valley that stretches out to over 7000 yards. The course was designed by Myron Tucker whose family used to own the Plantation Country Club until 1968 when they sold it. The course starts on relatively tame terrain before the par three 6th hole is presented and features a stout drop off to a green protected by water. Four of the final five holes have water that come into play before marching back uphill on the 18th hole to the well appointed clubhouse.
