A host site for the PGA Tour for 21 years (1986 - 2006) where they made the modified stableford format famous, Castle Pines Golf Club sits over a mile high where the ball flies far; and it will need to since it tips out over 8000 yards. The course is full of elevation changes with each nine starting high on the property before working down to the bottom and back to the top to finish out.
